MC-909 Sampling w/Effects

Having an issue that I'm hoping is just me not knowing how to use the MC-909.

I have the MC-909 setup to record through the sampler and using the effects router to send external sounds through both MFX 1 and 2, but when I go to the sampler input setting I can only set EXT (external) through either MFX 1 or 2, not both.

Is there a way to use both MFX's on external sounds when sampling or can I only use one?

You can set the Compresser/EQ, EFX1, EFX 2 and the Reverb all in serial,, It's done in the EFX routing.
I don't know, if that serial chain can be recorded intern

Yes, You can. If you press the "mix in" button ((sampling section) on the front panel, you will se the pop up with the input settings, just set main stereo input to MIX1 or COMP, and like StephenM said, apply effects serial routing in Effect tab. You can now sampling with applied effects.
