Juno-G + Analog Essentials - PC EDITOR problem

Post by Yuzo »

Hi folks,

first of all. I am a new member from Germany and I'm glad to be part of this great community. :-)

The G is my first hardware workstation after working with Cubase SX on my DAC and some groovemachines like "Korg Eletribe ESX" and "Yamaha RS 7000".

My question:

I installed the editor from CD to tweak some new patches. The problem is that I cannot use the waves from my SRX-board. When I select "WAVE GROUP" and "EXPANSION" within the WG-section it is just empty. The internal ones work.

I hope you can help me. Thanks a lot!

cheers

I have had the exact same problem with the computer editor so I just edit all my patches on the Juno G itself.

This is likely due to the fact that the editor doesn't know about the Analog Essentials board, i.e. it doesn't have it's waveform list. Try seeing if the Roland site has a newer version of the editor than you have.

Thanks for your answers. I did some research. Sadly, there was no update from v1.01 since last year's summer. Even on the Japanese page. :(

But how did "JL" from synthline did the awesome Analog Essentials patches? Directly on the Juno-G?

cheers

You could copy the patch from the expansion card to a user slot and then edit it.....
