Juno-G Editor Question re keyboard range

Did several searches and couldn't find anything related to this issue. Plus, the Editor pdf manual has nothing either.
I've just started investigating the Editor - reads, edits, writes just perfect - except for the 'keyboard range'
- all of the performances I read from the Juno are in several parts, and have different keyboard ranges assigned to each part.
However, in the Editor, it looks like the 'whole' range is selected when I open the 'kr' page......
....can anyone explain why??.....
I'm either missing something, or I fail to see the purpose of having a keyboard range page option - if it's going to show the whole keyboard selected for every part.
