hi there,
im looping a midi sequence and auditioning patches on my juno g.
problem is that each time the sequence loops at the end of the bar, the juno seems to divert back to the first patch in the list and not stay on the patch ive selected.
so basically,
loop a midi sequence,
play midi using say patch 15,
at the of the midi sequence rather than continue to loop playing patch 15 it will play the sequence using the first patch in the list.
is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?
driving me nuts!
lol
thanks for all your help.
patches reset when looping midi clip in juno g
Re: patches reset when looping midi clip in juno g
It seems like your Juno recorded a patch change event, this will happen if you change a patch while recording. Call up the erase function from the track edit menu, and erase all "program change" events, or do it in the micro edit mode, the latter can be faster.
Re: patches reset when looping midi clip in juno g
thanks for your quick reply artemio...
im not actually recording anything for the patch to automatically change at the end of the midi sequence.
all im really doing is playing a midi clip and auditioning sounds while its looping. it seems to always change patches at the end of a loop.
does that make any sense?
sorry if its unclear.
thanks again

Did you record this sequence yourself? Or you imported a MIDI file?
