Yesterday I tried to replicate the bug on my Juno-G, and I'm afraid that there is something wrong with the controls.
When you move a knob, it responds smoothly and without any gaps, but after a few seconds without moving it, there is a noticeable gap the next time you move it.
First of all I though it might be a 'safety' behaviour for avoiding involuntary movements of the knobs while you are not using them (after a few seconds without using a know, it goes to idle mode and you have to move it slightly more for making it respond again... this would make sense).
The strange thing, is that I would expect that the knob position is always absolute, I mean: when you have turned all left it's on minimum value, and when you have turned all right it's on maximum. The strange thing is that it's not always this way...
Try this. Turn the filter cutoff all counter-clockwise. Leave it alone for about 5 seconds. Open the filter a bit, very slowly, till you hear the gap and wait again. Repeat several times... and you'll get the filter wide open with the know near the middle. This is somewhat weird...
¿Could other Juno-G users confirm this behaviour before contacting Roland? Also it would be interesting to know how do the Fantom series behave... perhaps this is 'normal'.

For bugs... try to copy all tracks to just one (you can do it with copy job)... Then have a fun.

That was just an example. Glad you guys were able to catch that (thats called "sarcasm" art).
Point is, someone's not feeling the Juno love and we should prolly help him out. We all have been through hair-splittin times when we just wanted something to work and wound up being frustrated, and having to ask someone's help desperately. Mind you - i'm not saying no to funny posts. If chick posts something, sure we all can have a laugh or two because he's not a real person. If someone's serious, i think its better that we not act like a buncha clowns.

I'm really also desapointed with you Artemio, you're the "guy of the forum" and just agree with the boys that think this is not serious.
You really think that I've not contacted the Roland Support for this bug? Sure that I've contacted, but they ever reply a automatic e-mail with the procedures to update my system to 1.06 that is not the case.. I'm relating a BUG and they are annoying me!
Brazilian forum is so much serious, maybe chinese forums too, because this US forum is just fully of retarded people that doesn't know the funny forum is in the Off-topic section.

Earlier this year I purchased Akai MPD-24 for their reputation of great pads. Guess what, all about this unit was brilliant, except for the pads which were horrible: you need to hit them really hard to get normal levels and you need to make sure you hit the very center or you will not get any sound at all. I sold it.
I had a Fantom-S, then a Juno-G which was replaced by an X6. In either of them, I have not experienced any bugs (only in S but Roland fixed them all). However, other people may use some functionality I do not touch, and that functionality may have some issues. In this case you should report them, if they are not fixed - well, sell it and see if other manufacturers have something better to offer.
And yes, you say "this US forum" - but this is an international forum, with English-speaking people also from Canada, Europe, as well as Asia, Australia. I myself and this site is based in Ukraine, it's East Europe.

So "reporting" bugs here is useless. On the other hand, sharing and looking for possible solutions isn't.
There's enough bad things around. Our time here doen't have to be another one. So having a few laughs and DOES BEERS in the meantime is part of our routine

I have used this site for about a year now and I have never had any problems with comments made by other members. I'm also pretty sure most people on this site genuinely try to help each other out if they can.
If I can answer a question and I know the correct answer I will always reply to anty posts. As Art said if you are that dissapointed in your Roland synth then get rid of it and buy something else. If you have problems with the Roland tech team in your country then try another one.
In my experience Roland tech support is a million times better than Korg who are the pits, but then that is only my opinion and maybe other people haven't had problems with Korg like I have.
If someone is cracking a joke then don't think it is literally at your expense as we all go through moments of hell thinking we have got a major problem or BUG! with the musical equipment we have.
All companies Roland, Korg, Yamaha, Kurzweil etc, they all want our money that's how they make new and exciting products for us to drool over! even if they have got BUGS!
