monophonic to polyphonic on Juno-G

Post by saxgal58 »

Hi Everyone....
Had my Juno-G a few weeks now and getting along fine with it.
But - one synth sound I'm using quite a bit is "Cosmic Drops" and it's only a monophonic sound......does anyone know how to change it to polyphonic?? (similar issues with some bass sounds too.....which seems strange, as most of the bass players I know also play chords from time to time.....)
(I'm sure there IS a way, but, the Roland manuals being translated from Klingon or other obscure language are not the best!!.....finding most stuff by trial and error.....)

Thanks!
Julie

Press "PATCH" in the EDIT group, then press "PRO EDIT" under the LCD, go to the "CONTROL" screen and there you can see a "Mono/poly" setting.

thanks!!!!......
now I'm going through all the patches and converting them - not much use for monophonic sounds, even though I'm sure they have their place.

wow - man, I'd not even found that menu yet...........!!!.....guess the learning curve is much more extended than I imagined! LOL!.....just wish the Roland manuals weren't so presumptuous.....same with the GW7 and the 1680/1880

Thanks again,
Julie
