Re: ARX-01 & ARX-02 - cheap in US, but not UK
Both the following links ship worldwide and are a lot cheaper than UK. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roland-ARX-01-SuperNatural-Expansion-Board-Drums-/370505813950?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5643de0fbe#ht_2210wt_1396 is $79 (£50) and http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roland-ARX-02-Electric-Piano-Super-N...

Re: Namm 2011 what shall we see :)
It's just been announced officially on the Roland site that they are now concentrating on new updates for the Fantom G. They also apologize for lack of communication and for not showing any interest in their flagship model in the past and promise to up their game. Well done Roland, about time. SRA.....

Re: Fantom G8 Click Track Monitoring
Quick question... why are you using a sample for the metronome?
If you don't need samples for click this might be useful

Re: Sound quality of the G
It took you 2 Fantom G's to realize you didn't like it ? Surely you could have worked this out after one. "Wow, the output first of all is very weak, it's like 25% of the output volume of the other keyboard." What am I missing here? If one instrument is not as loud as another then surely y...

Re: marillion challenge- She Chameleon
Have you tried looking thru the hard lead and soft lead sounds.. I know some of these sound similar to what you are after and maybe you could add the required effect to one of them.

As a note the earlier versions of the OS never had this function. Maybe your OS is old.

Re: Fantom G8...is this normal?
Nope... nothing like you describe. I don't remember reading of a similar issue either on these forums. There can be a rattling noise from the left side from the transport keys when playing but yours sounds more like an earth buzz which never could be good. Try changing the power lead to make sure it...

Is beans codeword for a G update?
Seriously tho, I can't take the piss at the moment. I just hope that everyone in Roland Japan is fine and all their families. I wish you all my sincerity and love in these bad times.

Re: Memory Full Error
The Dimm is used to store the samples when the machine is on and the samples are loaded. The moment you turn off the G that ram is wiped just like a computer does. This is not Flash ram. So basically you was working in the internal project which as you know only has a limited amount of storage space...

Flumpy, with all due respect, "outdated thinking" is something that can definitely not be attributed to me. So my authorship of such a book is not a good joke. At least I didn't animate it ;) It Originally said "By Kan Drishner" but I thought that was a bit cruel as my fictional...
