Re: Namm 2010
madAhorn, I am not able to see the logic in this ~I can see Roland's logic in some of this. They will make a lot more money selling a stand alone Vocal Designer than just selling to us Fantom guys an ARX Vocal Board. They can even sell the stand alone one to us~ They may sell free standing vocal des...

Where all the drums?
<t>I needed the drums sounds tonight. I did not check before, because I thought- it's where it belongs- under D-R-U-M category. But- nope! Under D-R-U-M I found only 2 sounds. And what is it with "Percussion" category? I am wondering if I some how have Artemiy's sounds loaded, because- the names of ...
Re: ARX D50
Why in a world would you post a thread with such title, so people take it serious and open it just to read one of your fantasies? Do not title threads like it was released for real.

Re: Midi: G Transmits on Chan 1 only!??
<t>I have no idea what you all talking about, but there is mistery with this keyboard. The way I understand it, the keyboard transmits to "ALL" midi channels, and in LIVE mode every sound is on different channel. When keyboard transmits to "ALL", all sounds able to respond. The problem with Live mod...

Hanging notes
<t>This is frustrating and irritating. The notes hanging all the time. I have "Locall Off" and send from Motif keyboard trough Sonar DAW to Fantom sound generator. If I change the track in Sonar, like go to another (audio or midi) track or simply change MIDI out to Motif ot something else, notes get...

Re: GX sound expansions-require memory expansion?
<t>Thanks, Artemiy. I was working with sounds last night... Um- so if I have locals OFF, that means the pad sounds OFF also. That is inconvenience. Don't think there would be a way to make keyboard go trough DAW and still have PADs transmit somehwre- it all confusing. Even with "local on"- what midi...

Re: GX sound expansions-require memory expansion?
<t>Yeah- about that- don't let me start it- its 3 am for the God's sake- lol. I heard something when pressing PADS- why is it so low? I have no idea how to use those pads- it gives no to nothing sounds- instruction, please? And if you like to write little essay on how to use Pads- feel free- it will...

Re: GX sound expansions-require memory expansion?
<r>Never mind and thanks- sounds got loaded with out memory expansion- not that its a good thing- I am not sure if its good or not. After listening it about once... Arteliy did great gob with it. Roland itself sounds sux. If I had to hear another "glass-like" sound, I would send it back- oh, wait- I...

GX sound expansions-require memory expansion?
I was not paying attention and already ordered GX sound expansions, and after I downloaded Zip file, I thought- do I need expansion memory to be installed? The collection contains samples, that means- I do need that memory- what is it- 512MB 168pin SDRAM DIMM 64Mx64 non ECC ?

Re: Did you return your G? If so why?
<t>SH1000, thanks for the offer. You said you were transmiting from Live mode. In live mode keyboards sends to "ALL" channels. I don't really like that- it is about the same as having all your channels set to "1" at same time. In Single mode I expect it to send to ch 1, and it wont- not by default. ...

Re: Unwanted remote play/stop with synch
<t>I really apriciate the reply, but... it IS in MIDI SLAVE mode- I stated it in my first post. The problem is- it starts song every time DAW begins playing I am not sure if I try empty song and what happens if I do that, but I would prefere to not have song started every time even when I am in Sing...

Re: Did you return your G? If so why?
<r>The arpeggiator on the Fantom G is different from the arpeggiator on the Motif XS. Does that in itself necessarily make it 'weak' in comparison to the XS arpeggiator? You will need to get your hands dirty to setup, tweak, and edit the arpeggios to use with the FG arpeggiator. But in so doing, you...
