Re: Richard Devine V-Synth GT Patches... go get'em!!!!
<t>Hmmm... I tired this and seem to be getting an error. <br/> <br/> I made note of the L/U pathces. Renamed Patches to Patches1 and renamed Tone to Patch. I didn't touch the Pallete, System, Template etc. files. Checked them out on the V Synth Library and the project opened, however when I imported...

Re: Help with Librarian
Paulo,
I just read your other post with how you convert GT patches to XT patches. Brilliant! Looks like all GT patches are actually usable on the XT. GOtta say it again.. Brilliant! Many many thanks.

Re: Help with Librarian
OK so by now I figured out that the XT and GT are not compatible and I was usign the GT libraian not the VSynth/XT Librarian. had no idea there was a difference. Neeeevermind.... ugh. My librarian opened the Hartnol project since it was a GT file. Finally I'm sorted out!

Help with Librarian
<t>OK so I've just jumped into the XT craze and it's been prett darn satisfying so far. Just bought the Tweakbook and and floored at what I can do with this little box. Steep learning curve, but it does so much. So now the fun part begins... I've scoured the interwebs and found tons of files and pat...

Re: Using MC-808 as a Midi Controller
Dirk,
Amazing idea! I knew I could count on someone smarter than me to figure out a workaround.
Many thanks!

Using MC-808 as a Midi Controller
<t>I posted this in the general Groovebox forum but should have posted it here... <br/> <br/> I've got some great patterns sequenced into the 808 but the sounds are rather limited with the 808 (drums excluded). I've been using the 808 to drive other synths (OASYS, Andromeda, Voyager) in multi mode a...

Using MC-808 as a Midi Controller
<t>I've got some great patterns sequenced into the 808 but the sounds are rather limited with the 808 (drums excluded). I've been using the 808 to drive other synths (OASYS, Andromeda, Voyager) in multi mode and it's been pretty unreal. But I'd like to keep the drum sounds from the 808 and not hear ...

MC-909 Owners Question???
<t>Are the drums on the MC-909 mapped similar to the drums on the MC-808? Meaning do they NOT follow standard GM? This has been a very frustrating issue with the 808. It makes sequences with drums only MC-808 applicable unless you get into external midi. I'd dump the 808 for a 909 if this was the ca...

Re: Problems with midi import
<t>Dirk,<br/> <br/> Thanks for the reply. YepI do feel like an idiot since I found the solution in the manual. Move the cursor! Duh... Oh well, it's how we learn. <br/> <br/> As far as midi goes; a little more technical question... When I use the mc-808 as a controller to other devices the drums don...

Problems with midi import
<t>Greets,<br/> I'm hoping someone here can help. I've made a few patterns on Sonar and imported them as midi files to the MC-808. They have transferred just fine. The only problem is that my midi files use midi channel and track 10 for drums. That's pretty standard. But when I import the pattern, p...
