Re: Where can I get OS 2?

Thanks for the suggestion, but this OS update requires your Fantom X to be running the OS 2 upgrade that Roland sold. It is this upgrade that I'm after.

Could someone mail it to me?

Where can I get OS 2?

Hi guys,

I'm considering picking up a used Fantom X rack, but sadly it doesn't have OS 2 installed.
Is this available somewhere?

Thanks :)

Roland FA-08 at Grammy Awards 2014

Spotted a Roland FA-08 during Pink's crazy performance. Cool! :-)

Re: no pattern sequencer WTF?

Is it possible to set up markers and have a section of the song loop? That would give you a sort of pattern mode...

Re: Arpeggiator section

Ok, thanks for the insight. It'll be exciting to see the FA's solution. I must say I'm really impressed so far, great job by Roland! :-)

Re: Arpeggiator section

So you import midi files and then convert these to arpeggios? Hmm, that could definately work. Would be cool, however to be able to program them on the FA itself

Arpeggiator section

Very nice new synth from Roland :-)
Does anyone know what the arpeggiator section is like?
Is it possible to program one's own arp patterns?

Cheers

Re: D50 editor for V-Synth

Hey, excellent! Thank you, my man :-) If you try any of those, then please report back your thoughts. I'm wondering if some interesting sounds can be made, or if they'd just be derivatives of what is already covered in the 500+ patches on the D50 card. Hi, Sorry for the late reply. I've been very b...

D50 editor for V-Synth

Hi guys, I just recently scored a VC1, and tonight I tried installing the included editor from Uniquest. No luck however, as it doesn't seem to be compatible with Windows 8. Is there anywhere I can download a compatible version of this software, or do I have to buy an updated version? Are there any ...

Re: Recommended CF cards for original V-Synth?

Thanks guys. I already have an adapter (don't remember the name now) and a 128mb card.
I remember someone mention using 2gb capacity cards successfully, can anyone comment on that?

SP-606: recommended CF cards?

So, after getting back to producing music, I realised I need a new CF card for my SP-606.
Preferably as large as possible. Do you have any recommendations for cards that are known to work hassle-free?

Re: V-Synth and Windows 8

Ahh, excellent!
I was under the impression that the librarian had to read the projects from the V-Synth, but when I think about it, what you say definately makes sense.

Thanks a lot, PauloF! :D
