Hi folks,
This is for any players who have a Midi Solutions Event Processor or Event Processor Plus. Here is a file that adds auto-glide to their SE-02, or any synth that doesn't have it. Use the Midi Solution Tools, open the file and program your Event Processor. Cheers!

Re: Jupiter 80 velocity issue
Old issue, but still exists. I want to share a fix for the velocity output problem of the Jupiter 80. I've added a Midi Solutions Velocity Converter to the JP80 and the difference on playing pianos and EPs is remarkable. If anyone has issues with the playability of the keybed, get the Velocity Conve...

Re: I hate the JP80 Organs so ...
kevinkeysplayer, I use a Vent, only set up organs on lower and route lower to alternate outputs and use an A/B footswitch to enable when I play organs. PIA but sounds great.

Re: Jupiter-80 Organ, optimizing it.
With the 2.0 upgrade's ability to cascade effects, have you found ways to simulate what you could do on the VK-8M in terms of combining rotary effect, amp sim, overdrive, and C/V controls? I don't use c/v or the rotary effect, but I think those could be controlled like Dany said with s1 and s2. and...

Re: Jupiter-80 Organ, optimizing it.
I received an Ocean Beach Digital DB-1 Drawbar Controller today that Dave had customized for the Jupiter 80. I hooked it up, set up a split with drawbar organ on layer 1 of both upper and lower live sets. The DB-1 controlled the drawbars of each flawlessly and did not require a battery to operate. P...

Re: What amplifier/speakers do you use for your Jupiter 80/5
I was using a pair of EV SXA-360s, and they sounded great but took up too much room in my car. Then I tried EV ZXA1 speakers. Sounded pretty good with a powered subwoofer, but both failed within 6 months of purchase. I'm now using a pair of JBL PRX612M speakers. I find I don't need a subwoofer with ...

Re: What Can I do to Make the Organ Sound like an Organ?
I use a Neo Ventilator pedal connected to the SUB OUT jacks. For organ sounds I use the lower registration with output assign to the SUB OUT jacks. Other pedals may work well too. I run in stereo which helps get the Leslie effect.

Re: No Chord Memory Function In The Jupiter 80
I have a bench and a bungee cord (when I remember it) to keep it folded when I travel. Good function. Oh, and I play my chords.

JP-80 and iPad
Hi folks, I just wanted to let you know about my experience in trying to get the iPad to work as a controller for the Jupiter 80. I first tried Lemur for iPad, which is a very nice looking, program, but was unable to get the unit to send proper sysex messages, and the JP-80 would not respond at all....

Re: Jupiter 80 velocity issue
Devnor,
That would be great. Here are a few that I found. I you're using Kontact, there is a script on this page for measuring velocities. http://www.nilsliberg.se/ksp/scripts/scripts.html and another http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device.php?id=580

Re: Jupiter 80 velocity issue
I picked up a Studiologic Numa Nano last night and preliminary tests are quite good. With light velocity selected I was able to play most velocities and the Jupiter 80 sprang to new levels of expression. I got so lost in playing I was literally drooling. I’ll try creating some new curves using the “...

Re: Jupiter 80 velocity issue
Maybe my expectations are too high and to get all resolutions from the keyboard would have added $1000 to the Jupiter 80 price. I tested a Fatar SL990 Pro yesterday and it’s linear curve was about the same as the Jupiter 80 medium curve. All other curves were worse.
