Re: Exporting internal waves

<t>howardS - I've never tried using the Fantom directly. I use SX every day so that's simply my natural and first choice. Loop points are always tricky so I crossfade a short sample with itself to create a seemless loop. I also load the same samples into my Triton Extreme.<br/> <br/> alrakis - See w...

Re: Fantom editor/librarian problem

I noticed that the card patches weren't there as well and I just assumed that they didn't bother to implement it! I'd be interested to see if it's User patches only for certain.

Is there a function to swap the User and Card sounds in one go I wonder? I think not.

Re: Exporting internal waves

<t>I've sampled a few things via Cubase SX. Using a midi part with C and F# on several octaves aligned on bars, I play this and record the audio. Then I chop the audio at the bars, use one of the notes copied onto itself to prepare a loop with a suitable crossfade, then copy, loop and crossfade all ...

Re: Fantom-S Multi-swithching power supply?

Interesting. Then I wonder why they don't put that info on the back like most other manufacturers do??? How annoying, I shall test this out sometime, thanks for the info.

Re: Fantom-S Multi-swithching power supply?

<t>My FantomX7 states on the back that it works with 220-240V and doesn't mention being able to use 110-120V (for the US). So I think you are wrong in suggesting that the X series can switch voltages. My phone charger and laptop can do this though which is very useful ! The FanX7 has a plate on the ...

<t>That's one way to do it. Another way might be to use the portamento switch. Re: Chord Memory mapping problem - Juno-G

I fairly sure you can assign different chords to the FanX pads but not to notes on the keyboard... Don't know about the Juno G, sorry.

How about sampling the chords, I do that occasionally.

Beware because setting the part to zero volume still uses up voices which in turn will reduce your polyphony.

Let us know what solution you choose.
