Re: JP8000>V synth GT format
<t>I have done this with a few patches (vengeance presets). Some of them are very difficult to replicate, the supersaw is duller sounding and has a cleaner waveform... I had to add a bit of noise into the attack with the second oscillator. This made it impossible to then have a true second oscillato...

multi-part performance, output routing?
<t>I am trying to set up a couple of parts in a V-synth XT.<br/> <br/> I have part 2 set to output to the Main Outputs, I have part 1 set to output to the Direct outs.<br/> <br/> When I set up part 2 it doesn't output anything unless part 1 is also outputting to the *main* outputs.<br/> <br/> Has an...

creating a delayed gate type envelope on V-Synth XT?
Is there some tricky way to create a *delayed* gate type envelope on the V-synth?
It would be something like a single cycle square wave LFO on the OSC TVA.
Ideas?
Thanks

Re: Has anybody removed the rack ears from their V-synth XT
<t>I just went ahead and did it. You don't have to open the chassis, just remove the back cross bar (of the rack ears).<br/> <br/> Unscrew the plastic slides on the sides, and all of the pivot screws on the sides, it comes off easy, with no danger of parts falling into the machine. You will have som...

JayB? jp8k patch converter?
<t>Jayb, if you are out there, I saw on the vengeance forums that you had written a converter for JP-80x0 patchs to V-Synth?<br/> <br/> Any location where I could download and try this?<br/> <br/> I've replicated a few supersaw JP patches in the V-Synth, but, really it is missing that special "somet...

Re: Has anybody removed the rack ears from their V-synth XT
<t>I looked at removing mine from my new XT. <br/> <br/> I think Roland has a warning because the way the ears are mounted, you need actually open up the chassis of the XT to get all of the screws removed. <br/> <br/> If you just unscrew them without opening the chassis, you most likely will drop a ...
