Yup, totally agree. Looking forward to see what Yamaha is going to release. Korg suprised with the KingKorg and MS20 Mini unit. I wonder if more is to come this year.

Re: NAMM 2013 Rumours - new Roland Workstation?
Talked with a keyboard rep at a local music chain and when I said I don't see any workstations he laughed. He says no one is buying them (and that is pretty big coming from this store which is the largest in Canada). At least Korg is coming out with KingKorg- looks like something interesting. Not su...

Re: Jupiter at Namm 2013?
interesting to go to the RolandConnect page and view the previous product releases. It's like NAMM is not important to them- Muiskmesse is more likely to see something cool (or September timeframe).

Re: NAMM 2013 Rumours - new Roland Workstation?
and yet people still hold out for a new workstation/synth at the next gear festival. How many times do you have to get dissapointed before you give up on them completely.

Really? Never found that- will have to try that again- found it sonically a little thin.

Re: Just Purchased an Integra 7..hope I made the right choic
It seems to be a unit for those who just want everything Roland has done in one clean unit. Tempting myself- but will wait for it to become old and drop in price.

Re: NAMM 2013 Rumours - new Roland Workstation?
Anyone check out the Roland Connect 2013 graphics. Seems to show a Jupiter (don't know if it is a new one or just the old ones). Keyboards of some time will be introduced for sure. Guitar stuff. Daw stuff. Likely another Cakewalk HW device. And the obligatory other stuff (digital pianos, accordians ...

Re: Bought a Jupiter 80 and a Kronos 61, YIKES!
So curious- did you purchase them in Alaska or did you go to BC and get them since you are so close (although the taxes would suck). You are definately ready for the long dark days of winter now.

Re: 256 voice polyphony?? not as far as i can tell!
That sounds great and all- but I was someone who sat down for the first time and simply auditioned each preset from the front bank buttons and discovered this through normal playing (without a sustain pedal to even complicate things more). I don't think I have played another synth that did this so I...

Re: 256 voice polyphony?? not as far as i can tell!
Please do try it out first. I am open minded and a big Roland fan (until I got rid of my Sonic Cell) so this is coming from someone who does't want to post negative stuff. It was just wrong that a factory preset would perform like that. Now, maybe some owner can check that out and see if they can re...

Re: 256 voice polyphony?? not as far as i can tell!
Glad I found this thread. I spent some time playing through the live sets at the store. Came across the Marcato string set (I think thats what it was called). I tried to do some 7-8 not stabs in succession and could clearly hear voice stealing- it was so dissapointing- as what I was playing made mus...

Re: Check out my first synthesizer plugin!
You must be using a quite old browser, as all recent Safari/Firefox/Opera versions do support HTML5 audio playback. Here is the direct link anyways: http://www.sinevibes.com/media/diffusion/Diffusion%20Audio%20Examples.m4a That's what happens when you are trying to surf from work. Interesting synth...
