Theoretically that would work. It doesn't. When you select a specific group, the Fantom G filters events that have ONLY that group assigned, bypassing any event with all groups assigned. You are correct about assigning the group in song mode, but since I'm sending MIDI data to the Fantom X, I have to keep it as Phrase.

Ideally, this would be a modify function, but that'll never happen. :(

Yup, my first song starts on measure 2, but I'm kinda limited with the next songs. :) I've choked synths before, but it usually takes a lot more than one or two program changes. Maybe I'll just switch to studio mode and be done with it. :)
