Re: Issue playing MIDI
Hi,
You must deactivate the program change messages in your sequencer or delete the PC command at the beginning of MIDI file.

Re: Suitable AX synth stand
My AX-Synth is on a Millenium GS-2000 guitar stand at €5.70 while Roland stand costs €33 in the same store. You can see that it fits well here : http://deweak.free.fr/AX-Synth/photo1.jpg http://deweak.free.fr/AX-Synth/photo2.jpg As the "Y" arm at the bottom rotates, the AX-Synth sits firml...

My fault !

Re: How to get back the Ax-Synth factory sounds
If you use the editor, you can reload the "initial data" file, which might contain all original data. I say "might" since when I open this file, the editor lists the synth's memory...

Re: AX-7 D beam?
Hi,
In the software editor, you can chose the control change used by the D-Beam when it's in "assignable" mode. If your Fantom responds to control changes, it will be easy to match the two synths and to control the Fantom's FXs with the AX-Synth.

<t>Hi, I'll try to answer your questions one after one : <br/> <br/> 2. You can fully program the AX-Synth with the software editor, but you can't add new samples <br/> <br/> 3. When editing a program, you can set the keyboard and velocity ranges for each of the four parts. I guess that the default ...

Re: GT Save/Loading times ?
<t>If you don't intend to continuously swap projects or turn off / on your V-Synth, five minutes of loading at the begining of a session is not a pain : that leaves you the time to switch your other devices and computer on, and to warm your fingers up. On stage, it can become an issue, but you have ...

Re: GT Save/Loading times ?
Mine needs about three seconds to save a tone / patch, loading is quick. On startup, with all the presets and thirty user patches, it takes between two and three minutes for the GT to be ready to use.
Saving a project is (a bit) faster.

Re: new librarian + artist patches (GT) from Roland!
<r>It's a great tool : now you can combine your projects and rearrange the waves, tones and patches. If you move a wave or tone, the patch is upadated to keep the associations. The same when you pick sounds in different projects, in this case the software puts the waves and tones in empty places and...

You can quickly switch when in the Sound Shaper main page : there you have two buttons on the touchscreen that are as big as the S1 and S2 switches.

Re: Will There Be A Rack Version of The V-Synth GT?
Or maybe Roland didn't find useful to completly re-imagine so good machines and just added some stuff to keep them in good place in the catalogs. Then the GT could be a way to say ("hey, we're still there with Variphrase synths").
