Re: Juno Stage, Sonic Cell, and B4Real files
<r>As for other patches from Fantom/JunoG series, I used two editors, to match every parameter and that way I could recreate patches on the Juno Stage. I did this 10 times, and got sick of it.<br/> <br/> even thought it mostly works, it is a very complex and time consuming way. If I knew there was a...

Re: Questions on Juno stage
<t>No problem.<br/> <br/> Infact, I just decided to get rid of it. <br/> <br/> - no libraries<br/> - can't really use the favorite mode live.<br/> - the keyboard is too light for me<br/> <br/> I like the way it sounds but I would suggest going for the Fantom X7 instead. Along with the same waverom m...

<t>Hi.<br/> <br/> "I had heard that the output volume is pretty weak? "<br/> <br/> Not sure about that, seems fine to anybody so far.<br/> <br/> <br/> "the brass and organs were mediocre? "<br/> <br/> True. There is not enough really good brass sounds to choose from. Organs are not bad, but even tho...

Re: KNOWN ISSUES/BUGS
<t>I know some folks reported velocity problems with particular keys. This seems to be ok on my machine.<br/> <br/> Another issue:<br/> When you are in a favorite mode and you want to select a patch from a list (quite logical, you don't remember where your 100 patches are stored) you recall a list a...

KNOWN ISSUES/BUGS
<t>Feel free to write any bugs/weird issues you may experience with the Juno Stage in this thread, so that everyone gets the idea.<br/> <br/> The latest issue I experienced got me to start this thread:<br/> <br/> <br/> - The clock is actually slower than real time!!! If it says 170BPM, it is probabl...

Re: review - december 08
Sounds tend to be a matter of personal taste I believe. I use kurzweil and roland, thinking about clavia in the future. I don't like yamaha's sounds and korg's interface in general, but I might get a korg R3, mostly because it has a pretty good vocoder.

burning lead
<t>Yes I can. When I get home in a few days, that is. <br/> <br/> It is basically an electric guitar with some distortion and feedback, and it is pretty close to a real one. Adjusting the FX can shape it little more the way you like. But there is a small catch, I could only reproduce it to 90%, beca...

Re: Selling well ???
I've got number of experiences already, ask me anything
BTW I am glad there is not many threads here, often multiple on the same subject, because it would look like a giant disorganised mess (just like the Fantom section).

the summary
<r>I have to make a decision soon about which machine to keep (Stage/G), so I made a brief summary of what I learned so far. I dug as deep into the machine as I could in the timeframe, so here are some cons:<br/> <br/> <br/> On the Juno Stage:<br/> <br/> 1. They messed up the Favorite mode COMPLETEL...

Quick access/favorite bank
<t>One little point I would like to make:<br/> <br/> If roland targets the gigging musicians, why the **** did they f'k up the quick access mode (called the favorite mode on the Juno-Stage)?????<br/> <br/> Little explanation - on the JunoG you have all the following information on ONE screen: list o...

copying patches, etc. (JunoG/fantomX vs. JunoStage)
<t>I already made a research about loading the X/Juno G patches. Now that I have both the Stage and G at home and I can compare them, I found, that it uses A LOT of X/JunoG patches. That means same waveforms (I am not saying they're the same, of course the JunoStage has more of them), same effect se...

Re: Vocoder dynamics & Juno-Stage vs. others
<t>If you want a true vocoder sound, get a Korg R3, because the Stage ain't doing the job, unfortunately. It is like the D-beam - you're happy that you've got an extra feature, but its usage is very limited.<br/> <br/> Yes - there are audible changes to the carrier, but the result is unclear and clu...

I will probably post some recordings later, but right now the JS vocoder isn't worth my time.

VOCODER CHALLENGE
<t>Hi guys!<br/> <br/> Those of you that already have a juno stage, could any of you please copy the three vocoder patches to user memory, and use the editor to save them to the computer, save the three vocoder performances too, and export them as a file? Or separate files for patches/performances?<...

librarian
hello donutninja. Could you please spend a minute and check if it is possible to load XV library (or other library) patches into the JunoStage just like it was possible with the JunoG? This is kind of crucial for some of us, especially those who might want to switch from G to Stage. The software see...
