Re: Latency issues using v-synth with logic pro
Thanks! I think I'll stick to 44.1 then. But I'm wondering.. why have 48 and 96 if they have to be downgraded? Is there a possible advantage?

Latency issues using v-synth with logic pro
<t>I have my v-synth gt connected to my 4-core mac pro, which is outfitted with 8 GB of ram. It's connected by both usb and digital optical cables. If I change the output frequency on the v-synth to anything but 44.1khz (48khz or 96khz) and then try to record into logic pro via digital audio.. I get...

Connecting V-Synth GT with Mac Pro and software
<r>Hey guys. So I recently purchased a mac pro (2.66 GHz quad core xeon, 8GB RAM).. and now the fun part of connecting my v-synth gt (version 2.0) up to this beast. I installed the driver that came with the keyboard, and I'm able to use the keys for midi implementation with garage band. It was very ...

Re: Few questions about GT and Macbook compatibility
Thanks Artemio. About the ram.. sorry I should clarify. I meant the ram of the computer and not as a card. As in for processing speeds for logic etc.

Re: Few questions about GT and Macbook compatibility
Also wanted to ask if 4GB of ram is perfect for running Logic/GT or if getting that much is overkill. 2GB also good enough?

Few questions about GT and Macbook compatibility
<t>So I've had my GT for around 6 months now and I feel I'm about ready to start using to produce some music. So far I've only been using it as a stand-alone instrument to give myself the time to learn how to tweak sounds and so on. My current PC is a POS lol.. so I'm not even thinking of hooking up...

First day with the GT.. (impressions and rambling)
<r>I have to say I'm quite impressed. The vocal designer is so cool! I can't wait to dig into this and figure out how to do my own personal voices.. I can see many awesome possibilities. I was also rather relieved that it's extremely easy to tweak around with the sounds. I can't even begin to descri...

V-Synth GT combined with MV-8800
<t>I'm working on putting together a small studio for electronic music production (Trance, Progressive, House). I'm getting a GT in the next couple of months and I was hoping someone had some knowledge on how useful it would be pairing it up with an MV-8800. I've heard very good things about both bu...

Question about the v-synth gt's polyphony
<t>Is it considered to be very good? How does it compare to other competing synthesizers out there at the moment?<br/> <br/> Also I was wondering.. why does the juno-g have 128 voice polyphony while the GT only supports 28? <br/> <br/> I really don't understand why there would be such a difference.....

Need help recording vocals onto Juno G
<t>Today I bought a fairly decent condenser microphone so I can record some audio. I also bought a preamp for it. I have the mic plugged into the preamp and that's plugged into the mic input on my juno. But when I go into the audio track section and try to record anything.. nothing get's through! I ...
