I was mucking round in there for a while and couldn't figure it out. I don' see the logic but that did it.

Re: SRX Question
You could resample the SRX patch then tweak it.
Or you can Tweak it a lot with the Internal Synth engine.
See Artemio's very execllent Tweak Book.

Samples can be any size, but, YES!! max out the Dimm.
If money is tight you can get away with 256.
You also need compact flash to store samples. 1 gig (max ) is nice - but you could survive on half.

Re: i've a problem with my Fantom X8
Never had storage probs:
Dont need to reboot. Just "Safely Remove Storage".
It seems to me Roland is "over careful".

Yes, there's a CC list in the downloadable PDF manual for the Fantom XR (in my case ) or any fantom manual.
Hope this helps.

Re: SRX Question
Hey Skyy38:
Yes, you can tweak SRX patches right down to the wave form level, then save then as User patches, or Card patches.
My only SRX card is 07, lots of synths, great basses, and I esp. like the hammond B3 samples of fast speed lelsies.

Re: Making a Fantom XR MIDI editor
Hey!
I'm using a RD-700SX to control a Fantom XR. When I tweak the filter it tweaks all the filtres (for all the patches ) performance mode. The trick is to make it tweak 1 filter, which the RD can do to.
