Re: get roland to Fix the GT (all v users) act NOW!
How many others want individual panning per oscillator ?
Maybe I'm missing this feature in an obvious oage?
I remember asking about this shortly after the GT was announced at NAMM ?

Re: get roland to Fix the GT (all v users) act NOW!
<t>Has there been a thread devoted to finding the consensus requests ?<br/> <br/> Also, once the consensus is found, to narrow by applicability ?<br/> Obviously, Sample/patch import is high on everyone's list.<br/> <br/> One thing I wished for when the GT was 1st announced was applying AP-Synthesis ...

Re: Vsynth, XT, GT Monophonic clicks
<r>^Yes.<br/> It's the nature of truly monophonic patches, especially sine bass to click at cutoff the same as if they were poorly edited.<br/> <br/> Slight port/gliss/legato settings act as a sort of "immediate zero-cross envelope transition algorithm", without having to actually wait for the next ...

Programming GT key upstroke to perform tactile touchscreen f
<t>Hi.<br/> I'm very interested in knowing if it's possible to prgram the V-Synth GT to utilize key upstroke to disengage looping ?<br/> <br/> I have a bothersome workaround, but I would much much prefer to program this touchscreen function to be performed by the upstroke of a key.<br/> <br/> There'...

V-Synth GT Librarian w/ Leopard & Peak...
<t>Hi.<br/> <br/> Is it possible on a Mac Pro running leopard to install V-Synth Librarian, and simply drag wav files edited in Bias Peak and drop them str8 to the memory of the V-Synth GT, then encode and create my patch ?<br/> <br/> As long as these Wav Files have the appropriate prefix of 001----...

What is the maximum GB size the GT can accomodate for one of those USB sticks like Artemiy specified ?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: AP Synthesis for user-PCM oscillators?
Has anyone determined whether or not AP-Synthesis is dependent on layer switching between specialized waveforms, or if it is actually a genuine organic synthesis method, literally modeling the waveforms upon play, instead of playing modeled waveforms?

Re: V synth GT - new possibilities?
Good post Jim. I think your enthusiasm is genuine. That raises my hope greatly for the future of the V line. The nature of the V line is still misunderstood. The V-Synth GT, in particular AP-Synthesis, may well serve to change that. The sonic possibilities are vast, UI enhancements plentiful and log...

Re: AP Synthesis for user-PCM oscillators?
^That sounds very possible. But what I read(maybe I'm mistaken), indicates AP-Synthesis modeling types can be applied to all the stock waveforms. That would necessitate each source waveform (including square, saw, etc.) having seperate layers for pizzicato, bow scraping, etc. It is possible that is ...

Re: AP Synthesis for user-PCM oscillators?
<t>^Yes, it details in the manual applying AP-Synthesis modeling types to other waveforms (square, sine, etc.)<br/> <br/> I assume Roland will soon (perhaps they already have) include most types of encoded waveforms to utilize AP-Synthesis.<br/> <br/> That is when I will buy a V-Synth GT. AP Synthesis for user-PCM oscillators?
<t>Maybe I missed it in the manual, but can I apply, let's say, the AP-Synthesis "Flute" modeling type, to my own solo-encoded stereo wind samples ?? <br/> <br/> If this is the case, would there be any restrictions on encoding type, and the applicability of various AP-Synthesis modeling type, to pat...
