Have you tried turning off the tempo override? (under Menu - System - Sync/Temp)

Re: Damper pedal and decay
<t>This may or may not help. Got the advice from a kind Clan member some time ago. Thread presumably now expired. <br/> I was asking about incorporating fade/decay into the damper pedal on string / brass sounds, as opposed to sustain at constant volume. ... <br/> Not sure if this works for piano pat...

Re: SRX & Compact Flash not working together!!
Well if the slot is distorted in some way, replacing it is probably the best option, using a local Roland recommended technician, unless you're confident about doing the work.

Re: SRX & Compact Flash not working together!!
I have 4 SRX cards installed and CF card works fine.
Sounds ike coincidence to me but if the problem persists you could remove the SRX and see if CF card function returns. But can't see why this would be the case.

Re: File Open Issue
Loaded the file to PC card adapter,
then Fantom didn't register it as being on the card.
Tried shortening the name in case this was relevant but still no joy.

<t>Yes I think the rubber extension is one of those simple but great inventions that become must haves. I assume Roland have patented it given that Yamaha haven't taken it up. <br/> <br/> Well maybe the best bet is to to talk to Yamaha support, or just order one for the moment and try it out on both...

Re: Roland DP-10 Sustain Pedal help needed, anyone got one?
Waynester, you're probably aware the connection on the DP10 is a stereo jack. The Yamaha FC4 pedal has a mono jack.
I had problems with functionality when trying to mix and match so now I use the DP10 for the Fantom and the FC4 for my Yamaha keyboard.
