It seems that perhaps when the processor is reaching its limits, sending tempo information to the light is the first thing to go.

Juno-G Tempo Light Bug
<r>Just noticed a bug that has crept up in the last week. When I record or play back a complex sequence the tempo light fires very dimly on every beat. Since it light bright and fine when nothings playing or recording, or when a simple sequence is being used, it doesn't seem to be the LEDs themselve...

Re: Juno G - open questions
The keys are slightly shorter. The feel is a lot different than the Fantom series though. It doesn't bother me, but many don't like the feel.

Re: Juno G vs Fantom X patch edit?
Not without tweaking. Some waves are different in each and they reside in different "wave" numbers.

Re: Hi!.... a little help with Juno G pls
<r>Stare at the front panel for a while. It's actually pretty intuitive. You want to focus on the "Edit" section.<br/> <br/> You can assign individual patches to the "Live Setting" so that you can switch them. Alternatively you can just save them one after another in the user section and then just s...

Re: How to keep chords running when fingers removed?
<r>You can set one patch in a performance to use the arp, play that patch using the chord function and then latch that. On top of this you can play drum lines using the rhythm. Over all of that you can then play complex movement patches you create using the step LFO. If you want to latch those, do w...

Re: question for juno-g users - i am new to synths.
<r>Regarding your mellotron question. The Juno G does not have any samples onboard for the tron, although there are a couple of horrible preset patches that are supposed to simulate tron strings. They don't. You'll have to get the SRX07 Ultimate Keys expansion if you want to do Trons or add some tro...

Re: JUNE-G sounds compared to XP series?
Having used an XP-50 and 60 I can say that the G is a big improvement in the sounds department.

Re: From Juno-D to Juno-G
They are not really related by anything other than name. The D bases it's patches on a maximum of two tones, while the G can use up to four.

Re: good B3, Moog out of juno-g?
<r>There are no tron waves on the Juno G. They do have a couple of patches that simulate tron strings, but they are laughable. The trons on the SRX07 are not bad, but you need to tweak them to make the string sounds more aggressive. The tron string patches that are on the board are more along the li...

Re: good B3, Moog out of juno-g?
You can certainly get usable B3 and Moog patches out of the Juno G. But forget about the mellotrons unless you get the SRX07 Ultimate Keys expansion.

Re: SRX Boards
<r>Well, like everything else that cost money, you really need to try out this stuff before you buy. Yes, I realize that it's not always possible, particularly with boards, and the return policy is harsher than other gear, but it just isn't worth a blind purchase.<br/> <br/> Having said that, I thin...

Re: Juno g is great
I'd like an OS update to add some of the deeper sequencer editing functions. I don't hold out any hope for getting pattern-sequencing.
