Can i control 808 with the 307?
<t>Is it possible to use my 307 as a midi contoller for my 808.The thing is,i find that the realtime control using the Editor program is not so smooth as the faders on the actual unit. The Knob control on the 307 was class for realtime recording,so is there a way of setting this up for the 808?,or wo...

Re: Does The Mc-808 Editor Have A Bpm Calculator ???
<t>Hi,there is a BPM Calc Function, see your manual for instructions. Its all there in the Index. As for the Auto-chop functions,i recently downloaded Version 1.03 from the Roland website which installs the Auto-chop function on to your 808,so you dont need the Editor, though that is more precise. It als...

Re: 808 wont see my memory i installed?
<t>Hi,you may have sorted this issue already, but i had a similar problem myself. I got me a DIMM card to extend the ram to its max 512mb.I ordered a card with the same spec as Roland said in their manual. And they said it may be a case of trial and error with which is suitable.I was lucky and it inst...

Re: MC-808 Questions and Answers
<t>As far as i know this type of procedure is not possible.i am sure that EMI could not do this for all the Digitally re-mastered early Beatles stuff.Although they sound great they still remain in mono.I multi-track all the time and find using mono recordings of instruments & vocals essential.Us...

Re: 808 and 909 JOINT BUG REPORT: notes and fx CUT across pa
<t>I ain't no Sound Technology Graduate, but i found this problem too in the early days of the '307'.So from that moment on i programmed the patterns then multi-tracked each part with its own individual parameters into my 8-Track.For example;<br/> The 'Rise Pad' with a long release time would not sou...
