Re: yamaha s90es piano samples download!!

Hi guys, been after a s90 piano sound for a while- finances have stopped just short of going out and buying one sadly!

has this project died or did someone get a decent workable patch out of it that would work on a fantom?

Re: Jailbreak - Thin Lizzy "Alarms"

I eventually did this myself! it's not ideal but it's passible, especially under the racket of the guitars.
Anyone that wants a copy feel free to e-mail me at the above addy.

Jailbreak - Thin Lizzy "Alarms"

<r>Hi Guys, just about to have a world of fun sourcing different alarms, sorting the pitch, overlaying them and bunging them into the fantom. <br/> <br/> So I thought I'd be lazy and before I started see if anyone had a sample for the alarms under the guitar solo in Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak" (ah if y...

Safe products to clean outside of fantom?

<t>Hey there- did a search and haven't turned this one up before- apologies though if it is out there. Basically I have neglected my poor Fantom for a little while and am trying to to clean it up , it's got little bits of gaffer and things on it from attaching stuff during gigs. <br/> <br/> Can anyo...

Re: Which Microphone to use for LIVE singing ?

This is ok if you are running the mic separately through your pa- but I've found that if you try and run a mic through the fantom the gain is just terrible- are people who are trying this using pre-amps or something?

Re: Sustaining Pedal

wish they'd had that on my old va-5... would have saved the percussive maintenance.

Some other boards also reverse the pedal if you hold them down when you power on.

Re: Sustaining Pedal

<t>Is it not working at all or working incorrectly? <br/> <br/> I had a sustain pedal for my old board that used a break contact switch as opposed to a make contact (or vice versa.. It's been a while) which meant that when i switched to Rolands it sustained on pedal up... If thats the case it's easy...

Re: Anyone created ANY Bon Jovi sounds?

<t>Cheers for that, Carl. The vocal sound you are describing is a talkbox, it's a pretty neat bit of kit the guitarist uses, and we're lucky enough that the guy in our band has one. <br/> <br/> Thanks also for the input of your trained ear jachin, Though David Bryan has really only used Yamahas for ...

Jovi sounds.

<r>Re-igniting an old thread... I'm also a big Jovi fan and although still learning my way around the Fantom would be happy to try and help/swap sound ideas for different tracks with any others trying to capture sounds for specific songs, I'm at <EMAIL email="w.g.hamilton@gmail.com">w.g.hamilton@gma...
