Re: A new V-synth keyboard at NAMM!!!!!!!!
<t>Madness! pure madness! I just got a 201 recently but this new V looks too good to pass up!!! That's not to mention the new MV8800. If by some cruel twist of fate a new Fantom shows up, I'm gonna be in debt for a long time . One thing is certain: this is the best NAMM of this decade so far! I'm de...

Re: New Workstation? New Evidence?
<t>@ piaknowguy:That's a lot of PADS!!! LOL <br/> <br/> You know, I was wondering why the latest catalog from musician's friend didn't have the MV-8000 listed. I thought it was a mistake. Looks like they knew what was coming all along... Also on Sweetwater.com, the only MV8k available is the demo mo...

Re: New Workstation? New Evidence?
The only thing I see evidence of is an MV8800 or whatever the successor to the MV8000 will be called....

Re: News from KORG...
As a retcon for my earlier post, I found out that it was Craig Anderton from Hamony Central that knows what Korg is up to. Don't expect him to spill the beans though because I know there are NDA's involved.

Re: News from KORG...
<t>@ Sammy: I wouldn't sell my Triton Extreme so soon. At least wait til' the 18th because who knows, it could very well be 3 new electribes, 3 new guitar pedals, 3 new recorders, a new tuner and other minor stuff. I plan to play it safe. I'm not makin' a move with my Fantom X6 until I know that a n...

Re: News from KORG...
<t>Surprise, surprise... I say it's about time Korg laid the Triton to rest. It's been used and abused on countless records across the entire musical spectrum for years. After all, the original Trinity had like 3 versions, then there was a multitude of Triton models ( Classic, Studio,Extreme,LE,TR,e...

Re: New Yamaha Motif XS
I completely forgot about Kurzweil re-entering the market..I wonder what they will bring to the table. The VA synth prototype they showed off a few years back looked as if it would've wiped the floor with all the others. I have heard a few vague rumors of a new addition to the K Series though.

Re: New Yamaha Motif XS
<t>I see what you mean. I've owned a Fx6 since '04 and I agree that, in a way,it's only competition at the moment is the OASYS. I also think that you make a good point about the next workstation having a new form of synthesis( I wouldn't mind analog modeling).Even a few features from the VC-2 vocal ...

Re: New Yamaha Motif XS
<t>So GregC, are you certain that there will be no Fantom successor, or are you just saying that it won't be called Fantom? <br/> <br/> The reason I ask this question is because it seems that Roland has done what they typically do: release a flagship workstation ( in this case two, FX6 and V-synth) ...
