Ok, I did that, my patterns are 8 bars each, but when i play them they dont play back to back. theres 2 bars of dead air in between. why?

Im using the mpc as the master and the x6 as the slave. My problem is my midi sounds are changing on the mpc sequencer, when changing sequences??
