TR-8S - pattern changed right after saving
I created a new pattern from scratch, changed some instruments, added motion recording. I pressed "Shift" and "Write" assuming that this combination will save my new pattern and my kit... but once the pattern is saved, directly some instruments changed and I'm not sure if motions...

Re: Tr8s question about blinking instrument light
Hi, 1-01 isn't it Berlin Flyover? I didn't find Sakura in the list of patterns blinking behavior is different between "PTN Select" and "TR-Rec" you are referring to the light when the instrument is playing, right? I feel there is a major confusion here in your understanding of In...

Re: TR-8S Recording MOTION Problem
I don't know to be honest if this is how it's supposed to work. But when I try the motion Rec button and I move the coarse for example, I see this <attached>. so it's automatically overwriting all the other values. maybe this is how it's supposed to work. I'm not sure if anyone else can drop in thei...

Re: TR-8S Recording MOTION Problem
Hi, I tried to reproduce the same thing, you're doing. the difference is I have tr editor at the same time because you can see decay in yellow when you modify parameters. the only way it worked for me is when i set decay value for each step, so i pressed each step and turned the knob , and i could s...

Re: how the same instrument can have different sound on each beat traverse?
I believe this is caused by the LFO Depth, I have noticed it on another instrument.

Re: how to remove all effects from an instrument
THRU alone didn't fix it, the main parameter that was the problem is "Flt Env" when i set it back to 0, the instrument sound is back.
I guess I was carried away changing filters, I wish there was a reset filter parameter on the instrument back to factory settings.
thank you.

Re: how to remove all effects from an instrument
Hi, thank you for the reply. I need to know what were the default so i can just adjust as there is no option to reset. I realized that what i did, after tuning some parameters, I pressed on "Shift" "Write" I guess (i'm not next to my TR-8S right now, so i forgot the exact buttons...

Re: how to remove all effects from an instrument
I noticed that, clearing track, reloading kit or instrument doesn't remove the effects i applied. So basically my pattern cannot be used anymore. I didn't find any documentation on this. I don't believe that's it, i guess I'm doing something terribly wrong. If this is the case, do i need to factory ...

how the same instrument can have different sound on each beat traverse?
Hi,
Why the same instrument sounds differently when the pattern is traversed the first time vs the second time?
there is no motion or other coarse/tunes changes.
the sound is "FM Metallic HH2". audio is attached.
thank you.

i'm surprised how Roland Aira support are not involved in this forum
i'm surprised how Roland Aira support are not involved in this forum, apparently... There are many unanswered posts. I frequently use Arturia forums and their support team are fully committed to solve users' issues and answer their questions. I will think twice now before buying another Roland produ...

Hi, I'm not sure if anyone else is facing problems, but my Tr-8s is buggy.. sometimes notes shift or sound changes. It's not really easy to reproduce anyone is facing similar problems? or is it only me? I had it for couple of years, there was always some minor issues, but it gets annoying with time....
