Has anyone else had this problem, know what causes it and if there's anything I can do to resolve the issue? my Fantom is appearently kicking out multiple hits when used as a midi controler. Editing the midi is a p...

Re: Seperating drums during record out
<t>Hi-tech: when you say bounce the midi I assume you mean manually record it like I have been doing it, rather than exchanging midi files through your computer via drag and drop right? Thanks for the answer by the way. It's interesting to find out how other producers are using the machine. If anybo...

Re: track muted in song edit/track view only?
Right I went to that mixer screen, and in that screen the tracks were not actually muted. The are somehow only muted in the Song Edit screen. Thus not playing back.

Re: Seperating drums during record out
<t>Damn, I am used to my MPC and where I have 128 tracks to record on for each sequence/pattern!! So the Fantom gets 16 and that's it? Thanks everybody for answering, there seems like quite a few ways to skin this cat. I like the idea of recording the midi out to Protools, seperating drums, then rec...

Re: Seperating drums during record out
<t>So far as I can tell, a song contains 16 tracks, each with a patch assigned to it.<br/> Is the a way to record multiple seperate takes beneath that track/patch? For instance track 10 is one of my drum tracks. There are sounds in that track should have been recorded seperately to a seperate "track...

Seperating drums during record out
<t>is there an easy way to separate kicks, from snares, from hihats ect.. when recording audio out of the Fantom? I layered a Roland drum kit over my sampled kit, but since the Roland kit is all on one track in song mode, once I record out, all of the drums will end up together on one track in ProTo...
