On a MC-707
You can shift an octave up or down.
Go to sound edit (shift-sound) en go to CTRL (in the left down corner on the screen). You can shift the octave with the c1 button. Your pattern will shift.

Hi Marina, The loading between projects (or songs in your case) are, depending on what is saved, somewhere between 10 and 30 seconds. That's quite long if you're on stage, unless you can talk your way through it. In that case I would say, use two MC101. So you can switch fast. But you somewhere need...

I found out what you need to do: On the MC101 and MC707: Go to SHIFT - TEMPO and select MstrSteplen Here you select (2 - 128) after how many steps the scene will change. What I found out, just now (this has been puzzling me for days): When I save a (user) program as favorite, it saves with the wanted part selected. So this can only be done within favorites.
