Re: Goodbye RD700 series ... Hello RD800 !
I was literally just about to buy a RD-700NX when the RD-800 was announced!
(It does look significantly cheaper though..)
Anyway, does anybody know in what way the Supernatural EP:s have been improved?
Roland states: "Newly enhanced SuperNATURAL-based electric pianos."
Thanks.

Hi,
I've successfully programmed the delayed sequence from Save A Prayer, I'd be happy to send you the file.

Is WAVE SHAPE oscillator sync?...
I've often complained about the lack of oscillator sync in the JP-80. But yesterday, as I was doing some editing, I started to fiddle with the WAVE SHAPE parameter, and it exhibits some of the trademark sync sounds. The manual says: "Partial 1 will be modulated by the pitch of partial 2." ...

Re: what do you compliment the JP80 with?
I sold my Korg Oasys to buy the JP-80 and the Kronos. In the end, the fan noise of the Kronos drove me mad, so I sold it and bought back a V-Synth GT from the same guy who bought it from me two years before. So, in conclusion: JP-80 + V-Synth GT makes for a fantastic combo! (Plus Yamaha FS1R and VL-...

i have to admit that one of the sounds called Miles trumpet? really gives me goose bumps, i solo on it with the right hand and play a slow bass drum pattern on the Kronos 88...absolute magic.

Adjusting all Tones in a Live Set at the same time?
Hi,
I can't remember, but is there a way to adjust an offset parameter for all Tones in a Live Set at the same time? I mean, is there a shortcut for highlighting all the tones when you're in one of the Layer screens?..
Thanks.

Great find!
Roland should make an official video of this info tour, it's quite interesting.

Re: Synth Legends Collection - reviews
Right, some are a mix of the SN tones and waveforms. I think the Jupiter-8 Emulations that utilize square wave tones are the most accuare for that one classic synth. The SH-101 is pretty close. In a mix you could not really tell the difference I am sure. The ones that use the JP-80:s SQR-PW oscilla...

Quite a few of the Jupiter-8 sounds use the PWM-SQ, which is way they don't fare well in the Youtube comparison videos.

Re: Synth Legends Collection - reviews
I've just scratched on the surface of the new sounds, but first impression is that there are some really great sounds in there! Truly inspiring and musical. Thank you Roland for this gift!! But, and this is something I really haven't noticed before, and has more to do with the synth rather than the ...
