To be honest, it's worth saving and getting the TR-8s - it does what the TR-09 does x 100 for less than twice the price... I bought a TR-08, then thought about the TR-09 but was seduced by the TR-8 - then found the lack of stored patterns limiting, and went for a TR-8s - the money is worth it for us...

Just to follow up - I sent the unit to Roland in Swansea, they put in a new board and sent it back inside a week.

It sounds better than new now, so I'm a very happy bunny, nice one Roland.
