Check out bias direction in the manual.

The w2r.exe sample import program is amazing. It will batch name/order your samples for importing.

Is it possible to hook up the USB directly from a midi keyboard to the USB post on the MC-808 to use as a controller/keyboard and not have to run it through the software editor?

Thanks jay-em, I'm also using the editor. I have a bunch of waves that I wanted to work on before transferring to the mc-808. It would be easier for me to do it while laying in bed on my laptop : )

Thanks Frequalizer for the info! I'm really trying to find a way of setting up loop points in wave files to use as instruments. e.g. looping a single cycle saw wave. I don't think the mc-808 can read embedded loop points in wave files that were made in something like SoundForge so I was hoping someo...

My pattern set write does not seem to be working. Any ideas on how to fix? Could it be the battery on the board?

Now that I have a lot of samples on the CF card the machine takes a while to finish booting up. Any tricks to speed up the boot process?

Has anyone successfully used 1GB of RAM? If so, which brand/model of ram stick?

There's numerous mention in the service manual to SRX-SLOT or SRX Expansion. Do a search for CN9 or SRX.

In one area it says develop_only. I wonder if this could be expanded somehow.
