Re: JD-08 wobbly faders?
Thank you for the helpful reply. I returned the unit due to the wonky sliders. The JD-08 sounds great. The JX-10 sliders are much better and it also sounds great.

Re: JD-08 Issues
Can you play both Part A and Part B at the same time in a Split or Dual mode? This is possible on the JX-08 but on the JD-08 it appears it's only multi-timbral when the sequencer is playing one of the parts. Am I just missing how to do this??? This is disappointing coming from the JX-08, which is gr...

JD-08 wobbly faders?
Upon receiving a brand new JD-08, my first impression of the JD-08 20mm Cutoff fader control was that it was broken. However, all of the 20mm faders on my unit have a considerable amount of left/right AND up/down 'play'. This is accentuated with the shafts 'top hat' plastic cover on. The impact is t...

Re: High pitched whine from display?
Thanks for the Reply! Upon further analysis, the high pitched noise appears to be coming from the 'LED on bright' control in the System menu. When it is zero there is no noise (and no button lights nor the center patch display are lit). The noise peaks around level 20. Some LED's appear to generate ...

High pitched whine from display?
I'm hearing a high pitched noise from the Jupiter X LCD screen. Can anyone else verify this? Or maybe on the XM even, since it probably has the same kind of screen? I fought with a high pitched noise with my D70 screen for nearly 30 years before finally replacing the backlight (and it still makes so...

Re: D70 Clicky Keys
Update: I pulled off all the keys again and re-greased with a plastic safe white lithium grease where the spring contacts the key (I used 100% pure silicone grease the first time). I also put some grease on the end of the spring that rests up against the keybed frame (there was no grease at this loc...

D70 Clicky Keys
I recently removed all the keys from my D70 because there were a couple bad keys and all of the black ones made a slight 'tick' noise when first pressing down. I re-greased all the keys and touch points and now ALL the keys make this metallic 'tick' noise upon first press. The 'tick' noise is only o...
