Latest XV5080 update on Apple Silicon- Crazy, Crazy
Wow, the latest XV5080 and D50 updates send my M1 Max studio CPUs into stratosphere. What have you done? The XV spikes 4, that’s 4 cores with nothing being played in a blank logic project??.??

Similar on M1 Max. Pretty amazed really, nothing else troubles the CPU, but insert the new JP8 and immediately all cores running, even if I’m not using the plugin or have it highlighted. Might add I’m using logic.

And it still does, the celli and epic strings, Lovely.I remember had some great sounds in....
It does show what clever programming can do with limited samples. They compare very favourably with much more expensive VST libraries.

Re: RCM 2.4.1. NOT WORKING, pls help.
Not in my experience- you need to give it a try and make your own mind up. RCM 2.4.1 is stable on my Mac Mojave system, there’s no need to settle for sub optimal if you’re paying for it.I read support is extremely slow. So i won't bother.

Its just a damper pedal isn't it?
You could try the Other Roland gear forum - but to be honest there's not a lot that goes wrong with them is there?
Often people struggle with polarity matching if they are using in DAWS or some synths - bit other than that it either works or is broken!
