MX1 sequencing midi via USB?
Is it possible to attach a sequencer to the MX1 midi in and out, and set 4 different Aira synths on the USB 1-4 inputs to receive midi that way? or do they have to be MIDI'd as well?

M-VS1 hum on main outputs
Hi guys, posted this here because the M- "Sound Expansion" series is based on JV expansion cards. Basically it was a JV expansion card in 19" rack form. Anyway, i got a M-VS1 very cheap, it works fine except when i went to plug in the outputs on the rear there was a nasty loud 60hz gr...

MX1 44.1 vs 96k
I always work in 96khz on my MX-1.... i am now looking at adding some gear which outputs via SPDIF but ONLY at 44.1khz... has anyone here worked extensively in the two and have any insights i may not notice immediately going down to 44.1?
a little hesitant to even though it will probably be fine....

If you have any problems you might want to consider getting a sub mixer with a SPDIF output like the Yamaha 01x or similar? Then you could use th...

Re: MX-1 and MPC 1000 question when tracking to live.
Hey guys, New here. I bought the MX-1 as a portable solution for live gigs. I run my MPC 1000 SPDIF output into the MX-1 digital channel. I have the MX-1 set to 44.1, as that is the bit rate that the MPC 1000 uses, and I am getting sound out. Everything works fine without a computer. I would, howev...

Re: MX-1 has to go, the sound quality doesn't cut it!
I have made some of my best recordings with the MX-1 and find no loss of sound quality or frequency range with it. On my home stereo or on a PA they sound slammin and the bass has no problem reaching subsonic depths. Sounds like a classic case of a sub-par musician blaming the gear!
