Re: Trying to connect soundbar... what am I doing wrong?
Potentially the soundbar has an input toggle button so that it knows you want to play through the analog input instead of the digital input. They are meant for use with digital audio for video lip-sync in a/v systems and probably default to the digital input.

Re: Scooper question
Yeah, I lucked out scoring those at the price that I did. Regarding The two that I don't have, personally I think that I would find a distortion to be more useful than a bit crusher, but then I already have plenty of filters. I have heard good things about both of them though. I do sometimes use min...

Re: Scooper question
Mark76, I am also using voltage trigger, but I suspect there is way using the virtual modular software back end. BTW-$75 was pawn store used pricing, not retail. Myrk, The MX-1 is pretty unique. I imagine there will be other performance mixers coming. Other options include kaos pads (sampling fx pro...

Re: Scooper question
Hi, I have both Scooper and Demora. Scooper does need to record first. It also absolutely does work with AIRA Link as a source. You still have to feed a signal into the front side inputs first though. When using the included power supplies instead of eurorack power, and quality cables, and the prope...

Re: Seeking help and advice with 2 x MX-1 mixers
No worries. Everything is working fine now, and with the MX-1 driver too. I am not sure how, or whether opening and configuring ASIO4ALL had anything to do with it, but there were real problems with using ASIO4ALL. It somehow multiplied each mixer by two, resulting in four, and caused problems in vi...

Eureka!
I think I got it working with ASIO4ALL. Thank you to anyone made me second guess myself and try it again.
I will report back later.
Thanks again.

Re: Seeking help and advice with 2 x MX-1 mixers
Thanks, but all of those devices have different names. I don't know how to, or if I even can, change the name of one of the MX-1 mixers. ASIO4ALL can see them both, but they have the same name so only appear once in my DAW.

Seeking help and advice with 2 x MX-1 mixers
I'm just looking for help or advice in making something work that does not seem to be possible. I am using a Roland AIRA MX-1 as my audio interface. I got a second because I needed more channels. And although they can be synced together via USB, that only really provides me with a sub mixer because ...

Ding!
...and yet that is not so much a matter of quality, but rather a matter of character.
Cue: ana/digi rabbit hole...

Re: User Name Change
Hello, I have a similar question. I think that I may have three user names here. I had forgotten my passwords twice, and wanted to answer a question for an AIRA user, so I registered a third time. If you can find that all three of my user names are registered to the same email address that is regist...

Re: MX-1 low effects send level?
Enable the AUX button under the channel settings value knob, press the select button for the channel that you want to send, and turn the value knob to your desired level from 0-100.
