Editing Multisamples?
How do I edit a Multisample I have previously created? I would like to go into a Multisample and add or remove another sample, change the original key of a sample or extend the amount of keys a sample covers along keyboard? All help and suggestions would be appreiciated. Xsessive.

Re: Need to set up a Fantom XR with a sequencer
<t>Wots up gqdotcom, i also use a Fantom XR with Logic 6 Pro as my sequencer. I think i should be able to help you set up Logic with your XR (i have experienced all the bugs you have mentioned and managed to sort them out). You need to set up a few of the settings in Logic and the XR, but first what...

Ripping Vinyl
<t>Best way to rip vinyl to wav/aiff/mp3 is to connect your turntable to a mixer (turntables have to be plugged into a Phono input or a DJ Mixer which has a phono input, if not you will get low/bad sound quality) then connect your output of your mixer to the input of the soundcard. I then use Peak (...

To destroy or not to destroy the Juno?
<t>I think the problem your expiriencing is not saving your samples. After you have imported your sample and assigned it to a patch/audio-track you need to save the samples. I use a Fantom XR (doesnt have audio tracks) and would expect a slight difference in the menu system.<br/> On the Fantom this ...

Drum & Bass Breaks
<t>Howdy SPISHAK, i see your after some drum & bass breaks or names of sample cds. If your after a good sample cd try out, Jungle Warfare series (volumes 1, 2 & 3. All three have been used in quite a few d&b tracks), Firestorm by DJ Stakka has some good breaks which have been proccessed....

Re: Drum n' bass / Electronica Patches
<t>Hows it going Tompz, hope those waveforms i posted up are of some use, if ur after anymore DnB samples give me a shout and i'll post something. I second that idea of seeing what people can contribute to the DnB/Breaks/Tech synth side of things. I maybe mistaken but i dont see alot of posts relati...

Re: Drum n' bass / Electronica Patches
<t>Tompz, if u have any of these synths why dont u try sampling the raw waveform (without any TVF, TVA or LFO settings) & apply your own TVA, TVF settings within the Fantom. I do have the Albino synth and I do have to say, the SuperSaw Waveform is qiute phat (brilliant for sampling in the Fantom...

Re: The Fantom is Weak in so many ways...
Don't see the problem here, the Fantom has a decent range of patches, making it a decent sound module IMO. It has a sampler which allows it to be as good as the users creativity & technical abilties will stretch. Its got 78 different FX.

Re: is it possible to...
<t>There is a small difference between RHYTHM SETs and PATCHs, you will notice that in RHYTHM SETs each sample you assign to a key will have its own TVA envelope, TVF envelope & Pitch envelope. In PATCH mode each tone (samples spread across keyboard/multisampe) will have one TVA, TVF, Pitch enve...
