Short in MX1 volume knob?

I have an issue with the MX1 volume knob. I have to hold it in a certain position to receive the expected audio output. I believe there is a busted connection or short. How difficult would it be to fix this? If this is something that can be fixed at home, does anyone have any good videos they could ...

Design flaw live performance with MX-1

This has happened to me a couple of times while performing live with the MX-1:
When tapping out the tempo I accidentally push the master volume up. I have learned to be cautious of getting too hype when tapping out the bpm. Think the master volume should be by the send volume...just my two cents

MX-1 midi possibility?

Hello

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect via midi NI Maschine to Mx-1 and then use NI Maschine knobs to control individual mx-1 effects instead of using the knob on the mx-1? If so, how would one go about mapping this?

Thanks

Re: MX1: How to record seperate channels into DAW

you can adjust the individual channel input levels by selecting the channel, select gain, and use knob to adjust. if recording the performance master out through channels 17/18 you will need to apply the gain staging within ableton and use post processing effects to desired output.

Re: Roland MX-1 & Ableton BIG problem

Could it be the usb connection? I have had some loose usb connections that cause the signal to get dropped. once the connection is established a restart is required for ableton to recognize the mx-1 is connected.

Re: Ground loop type hum MX-1 out to scarlett in

After toying around with all the different ways to connect, I finally figured out the hum was due to the connection to a 3 port usb connector. once i connected the mx-1 to it's own usb port on the cpu the humming stopped.

System update for MX-1

It appears that the last update for the MX-1 was in Sep 2016. Does anyone know if they are working on any additional updates, or has the MX-1 been placed on the back-burner?
