Upping this post as it's quite old... Any chance there's been an update to fix this? I know it's a long shot, I've read many recent articles, posts, etc. and still can't see any mention of a fix. But maybe since then, some brilliant mind would have found a fix for this? Or are we still forced to app...

For me personally I only want to use my DAW as a multi track recorder. I find working with software kills my creativity, so I only want to use it when mastering and putting in some final touches. I thought the mx1 would be the perfect companion for me, but it looks like I will have to return it sin...
