I couldnt find a way to send midi data eg notes to the midi din in and then on to the usb ports...did you find a way to do this?

I have had success with this. I think i used the ableton feature of hardware delay to get the sounds married up enough to be functional

Hi, I had this same issue and another roland clan forum user gave me the tip to make it work. In ableton, in the midi settings under preferences, you need to DISABLE all inputs and outputs of the 1m. Then the 1m vst will let you use the midi in / out for the librarian functions (for pc use 1m -contl...

Wow! it worked, thanks so much for the tip. I disabled abletons midi connections to the 1m and then the vst worked as a library back up and shift around, can name patches etc. awesome! If only roland hadnt fucked up this end of the product, it took my hours to reach this solution. Cheers, peter
