Re: Should I sell my boutiques and get a System 8?
The System 8, while having full sized controls, does not faithfully layout all the hands on controls of the original instruments, whereas the Boutiques do. Some parameters require a tiny bit of menu diving on the System 8. Other than that, the System 8 is the way to go. Especially for; - polyphony (...

New song made with the D-05
Hi everyone
Really enjoying my new D-05!
I thought I might try to make a song entirely with the D-05. Here it is! All D-05 except the drums :)

Re: Great things for System8 this summer
Wow! I wonder what the polyphonic plug-out synth will be?
Any guesses as to whether it will be a vintage recreation or something new?

Little track made with the System-8
The 1.2 firmware is really excellent - it widens the sound palette of the synth so much I thought I'd try a track made just with the System-8. It's not quite all System-8. There's some background chords using JX-8P - but I could have gotten very close sonically with the S8, and there is a JP08 line ...

Re: Can anybody explain voice stealing while in chain mode?
A simple and easy solution against this issue would have been to program the Boutiques to send every second note to its chained module. Ex: note 1 played by A, note 2 sent to B, note 3 played by A, note 4 sent to B, etc... Weird that Roland never thought of that. Where do they get their engineers f...

Re: Which boutique can get me closest to the Korg Polysix?
I don't think any of the Boutiques will give you the Polysix sound, but the JU-06 will put a smile on your face with amazing bass with a different, but still vintage, character.

Re: Arpeggiator from DAW/ext MIDI keyboard
Thanks papasan. I disconnected USB, now using a MIDI cable. Digital noise all gone now! Immediately the synth responded to tempo changes from my DAW. Then I changed the Remote Kbd ON parameter, and that worked too. As you say, it makes the synth respond to all MIDI channels which is not ideal, but I...

Re: Arpeggiator from DAW/ext MIDI keyboard
Thanks guys - I'll check both of those.
I'll probably switch to MIDI cables at the same time as I'm getting too much digital noise with USB.
(you can hear it at the start of this track https://soundcloud.com/raymondhayter/exoplanet )
I'll report back!
cheers.

Arpeggiator from DAW/ext MIDI keyboard
Hi Had my System-8 for a couple of weeks now, what a great synth!! I'm a bit confused about sync'ing externally, and the manual is a bit light, so if anyone can assist me here that would be much appreciated; Playing arp. from the S8 keyboard is fine. When I play the arp sound from my master keyboard...

Re: JP-08 patches in VST
I've purchased, but having trouble getting the Momo editor working, but can't find a link to contact the developer.
Both standalone and in Reason.
(Windows 10)
Anyone know how I can contact the dev?
thanks!

Re: JP08 multimode
The JP08 is not multi-timbral. It does not offer the split mode of the original Jupiter 8.
