This is correct but this technique reduce to half the recording resolution , in most of the cases it’s ok but all must know this little downside.

Wow I don't remember a so long time and I use larger sample.
Can you check the properties of your WAV file? I use only 16 bit / 48kHz samples. Maybe related?

I agree, sample functions are slower than an PC, iPhone or iPad.

Again Waveform search missing, I have create no one user tone that utilize samples because the waveform search is impossible, I’ve only modified an existing tone (because here there is a search function) and created VA tone .
