JU-06A vs JU-06: MAJOR differences!

the JU-06A has significant improvements over the JU-06: - has lfo retrig off/on - has 7 lfo shapes - has pwm to env - can sync lfo and delay to bpm - has arpeggiator and hold key - items buried in menus are now on the front panel (sequencer parameters, delay on/off + parameters, portamento, solo/uni...

Re: USB Powered - Warbling Noise

Yes, this is the standard weird noise from a Boutique when you have it connected to a PC via USB. Considering Roland forced you to use power from USB, this is another mistake on their part. Thank God they got most of everything else right. I use a USB phone charger to power mine - solves the problem.

Re: New firmware v1.20 for JU-06 and JP-08 (May 2017)

FYI, purchased a System 8, assuming I could transfer my JP-08 and JU-06 Boutique patches into it. NOT. System 8 does not have this functionality - it only allows your JU-06 or JP-08 to send live CC signals (when you move a slider/knob) for some of the parameters, but will not allow a patch transfer....

Re: New firmware v1.20 for JU-06 and JP-08 (May 2017)

I discovered this evening that the update also allows the JU-06 to control the Juno 106 plug-out on the System-8 itself. Same with the JP-08 and the Jupiter 8 plug-out on the S8. Put the Boutique into CTRL mode (power on while holding Patch Preset 8), make sure the System 8 is set to MIDI channel 1...

Re: How to exit JU-06/JP-03/JX-03 Manual Mode?

If I'm in the middle of programming a patch, then go into manual mode, then need to get back to that patch, I often don't remember the patch number I was working on. I wish just hitting the Manual button again would bring me out of manual mode.

Re: Boutique MONO bug

Yes, but the issue persists. I'm sure this is happening to everyone who tries to play mono patches when they've got 2 JU-06s going in chain mode. :(

How to exit JU-06/JP-03/JX-03 Manual Mode?

If you press the manual button to hear the patch as per the actual settings on the panel, how do you exit that manual mode? Pressing "manual" again does not do it.

Anyone know how to do this?

Re: Can't import sound patches.

You're doing it right, except drop the new patches into the RESTORE folder on the Boutique.
