Yeah the TR-08 sounds cleaner than the TR-8, It's easy to work with(I haven't looked at the Manual yet).
I'm kind of disappointed that you can't use the other Percussion parts in a pattern (Toms and Congas, Maracas and Clap etc), like the OG. But for the Price it's a great little box.

I believe with the TR-08 you can utilize all of the 808 sounds in one pattern, ie Toms and Congas, Rim and Claves, Claps and Maracas. Which you'll need to track or have 2 to do on the TR-8. Unless some one knows a trick to make this happen. And the tr-09 programs pretty much like the 909, so for nos...

This is what I use for My Push 2

If they do a TR-08, hopefully all of the Sounds will be available to program simultaneously (unlike the TR-8)

My Hope is that they do the MC-202, and SH-101 next as well.

Figured it out, It was the Buffer size. On my computer it glitches every once in a while at 512, but smooth at 1024.

I have a Kick Drum loop playing back in Live, and the MX is in EXT mode.
Every so often the First kick drum (on the one) will glitch a little bit, not all the time though.
Don't know if i'm over looking a setting or what, any ideas?

You'll have to route your inputs to Ableton, to break out the Drums.

I use the TR-8 Multitrack with Protools, I'm still trying to figure out how to Slave the TR-8 to PT though. You have to change the Playback Engine setup in the Set up menu in PT to TR-8, then Make 14 Mono tracks in PT. Assign the tracks and then you'll get each individual drum sound. http://www.swee...
