Re: Factory Reset a Fantom 06
So, for anyone facing the same problem , I finally figured it out... The "missing" scenes were down to certain expansions not loaded. I found some documentation of the Roland website with all the patch data for all the tones in the Fantom, and it mentioned that the SN Piano and Organ expan...

Sample rates
Hi all
This might be a very basic question. I appreciate any help nonetheless.
Does the fantom have its own internal sample rate for
producing sound that needs to be matched to your DAWs sample rate? Or can you use any sample rate with your Fantom?
Thank you all for your time!

Factory Reset a Fantom 06
I'm trying to factory reset a Fantom 06, but not having a lot of luck. I've followed the official instructions from Roland, but it doesn't seem to behave the way I expect it to. Currently I have a problem where A002 Scene "MKII Treasures" is blank, no tones are in that scene at all. (I'm s...

Re: Windows 10
good call :)
I've already changed from using the USB Midi to the legacy Midi ports to use it within my DAW
But I still want to use it for programming the sounds and patches using the librarian.
I'll try the VMware route
thanks

Windows 10
Anyone got their SH-201 working under Windows 10 yet?
The Win 8 driver doesn't seem to work for me.
It stopped working when I upgraded from Windows 7x64 to 10

Saving Tones to SD card or PC?
Can I save a tone that i have edited to the SD card or the PC via USB, so that I can put it into my PC and save as a .SVD file? I know i can Import .SVD files, but I'm lost as to how to create one in the first place on the FA... I've looked at the Utility menu and Backup will create a FA.SVD file, b...

Re: My quick review of FA-06 +
If I was picking hairs I would say that tone selection is not as I expected - you can't bring up all the SN-Acoustic sounds in one list and select (or indeed scroll through them). You must first press the bank buttons to select the sound family you want (say pads) and then you can scroll through th...

Re: any G users that switched to the FA?
Very interested in the replies to this as well. Keynes action would be deal breaker for me to upgrade from a fantom g to be fa. Has anyone compared the keybeds yet. My initial thought is that the fa will be closer to the Juno g in built quality. And that leaves more sorta undecided. Need to play on...
