Re: Question on Undoing Master Fading
No answer from the experts???? Maybe I need to rephrase the question. Simply put, how can I cancel Master Level fade out that I recorded into a song? Had I recorded individual fade outs for each track, I know how to get rid of those fade outs using Track Edit and deleting all the CC(control change) ...

Question on Undoing Master Fading
I have successfully used the customizable automation knobs to fade out the end of a song. I want to copy this ending elsewhere, which I did, but obviously it copies over with the fade. How do i remove this fade? I.E. how can I cancel the master fade on the copy? I tried to rerecord over it with the ...

Re: Need advice and help with MASTERING
<t>I did listen to both the M-audio and KRK at Guitar Center. I found the M-audio to sound a bit better in terms of clarity, but they were close. I'll go listed to them again.<br/> <br/> One more question...what about a sound card? Obviously, I have one on my computer and laptop. But as I mentioned ...

<t>Thanks a ton lordelix. In answer to your question, I do use only the fantomx to mixdown. <br/> I was definitely going to invest in a pair of monitors. I was going start with the M-Audio BX-5A Deluxe. Any experience using these? Hopefully, this will resolve some things. But I guess the key is usin...

Need advice and help with MASTERING
<t>Hello all!<br/> I have just finished recording an instrumental song. Since 3 days I have been trying to master the final mix. While it sounds great on headphones, which I use, connected to the fantomx, when I transfer the .wav to realplayer and try to play it on my Bose system, it sounds, frankly...

Can someone answer my original post?
Will be sequencer files from X transfer over to G? From the earlier posts I take it that the all of patches may not be available and neither will they be in the same order. Okay, so I may have to remap the patches. But will the seqeuncer files play in the new G?
Thanks.
Thanks.

<t>So is it confirmed tha the patches will not be in the same order? <br/> <br/> So my sequencer file will have to be adjusted to sound like it does on X right?<br/> <br/> How about the effects ?<br/> <br/> I assume that more generic controls ( such as CC changes) will transfer over since these are ...

Question for all you G experts!
This is for the experts who may have 'demoed' the G....If I "upgrade" to the G, will all my files from the X transfer over overseamlessly? Wil they sound the same? Are all sounds from X available on G (and more?)
Thanks.
Thanks.

How do I fade in
the on-velocity of percussion then? I can't believe I have to individually chage each note. I'm sure there is a better way right?

Need help with sequencer velocity control
<t>I am trying to fade in the percussion on the X6 sequencer (track 10). I reset all on velocity values to minimum value (1) using standard tips I got off this forum. However, when I tried to fade in a gradual volume change (from 0 to 127) using real time recording with the assignable knob set to CC...

Mic
<t>I need some tips on buying a mic. I am all ready to experiment with audio recording with vocals. Can anyone recommend a good mic to use with Fantom x-6? I am not a pro so I don't need the best stuff(usually means more $$$$ ). But my policy is to buy above average good quality stuff (do it right t...

knobs need to be repaired
<t>Hi there:<br/> When I received my new X-6 about a year ago, the knobs were messed up right out of the box...by that I mean they had a loose contact. The problem seems to be a relatively common one i.e. the board that the knobs rest on can come loose. The result is the knobs won't work at all or i...
