Sample Chopping Blues
My biggest gripe, and the reason I can't really use the 909 for live sampling in the end is that when adjusting the start and ending of slices using the chopping feature, there is no way to audition the slice from the adjusted position, as when the slice is played it always moves the starting or end...

Re: Sample Management MC 909
Come on, there has to be someone out there who uses the 909?!?! I see that Container uses one for his live show... Is he on here. How's about any of the tech geniuses at Roland that designed this incomplete operating system. Any of you around?

Re: MC 909 - LFO assigned to Cutoff
I just asked the same question. Did you find anything? I don't use LFO for pitch on the 909... I really want the knob to control the depth of the amp and filter...Been using this unit for over a year and found nothing... but this looks promising here http://www.mc909.org/utilisation/22-4-controleurs...

LFO Depth, MC 909
Is there a way to assign the Depth knob to the depth of anything other than pitch? I like to add a tremelo to synths and drum loops, and it sucks to have to go through the preset menu to change the amplitude lfo depth, or the filter lfo depth for that matter...

Sample Management MC 909
I am trying to use the 909 as a live sampler, sampling directly on the fly throught the effects and chopping it up... I run in to a problem with the chopping because the 909 needs to store the samples after chopping before it will create a new rhythm patch, and sometimes the meager 16 MB of system f...

Re: Sample Setting to Play Entire Sample (MPC One Shot)
Never mind. I figured it out. It was in the "General" tab in Patch/Sample Edit Mode, "Tone Env Mode" which is set to "SUS" or sustaining by default. I changed it to "NSUS" and now it bypasses the AMP ENV Decay, Sustain, and Release and only responds to Attack ...

Re: MC909 EXternal memory Bank Development 2G+ capacity
I am extremely interested. Cost would be a serious consideration however whatever support I can offer I would like to see this developed whether I could afford it or not.

Sample Setting to Play Entire Sample (MPC One Shot)
Sorry if this is a noob question or if it has already been answered, but I am trying to play a long sample in it's entirety without having to hold the key the whole time, and without it being cut off by the amp envelope. I am running the sample now with the envelope wide open and it still fades it o...
