Was someone able to control the Harmonic Bars from external midi controller?

This month it seems they did not even release sample pack...

Is it possible to connect midi keyboard as external midi controller using the USB outlet of the Roland FA?
I'm trying to connect my Akai synthstation 25....

Is there any difference in the sound while playing weighted keys? velocity can be better controlled on weighted keys?

After installing the FA-06/08 USB driver for mac, the GarageBand does not respond after the initial page (select project). I've followed all the installation instructions but everything still the same. After I removed the driver GarageBand works so it's definitely related to the driver. Was someone ...
