Pitch bender and modulation wheel
I was wondering if it is possible to substitute roland picth bender/modulation lever with traditional pitch bender and modulation wheel, or two sticks, like those here https://www.soundonsound.com/forum/view ... hp?t=77091.
Would it be a difficult hacking?

Re: Roland MKS 20 Epiano tone
Start from SA Rhodes 1, SA Rhodes 2 or RD-1000 (you can find all of them on Axial http://axial.roland.com/category/juno-d ... 88_xps-30/) and modify.

Go with Juno Ds61.
You can't go wrong.
Lot of sounds, 61 keys, easy to program, transportable.
And, let's not forget, affordable.

Re: DS Noob question
With pads you can: - manage midi patterns you created, in the form of synchronized midi loop. You can have 8 different loops per song, and mute/unmute a single loop, or change song on the fly. - play mp3 from USB pen. each one of the pad can play a different mp3 sample. - manage sounds in a performa...

Re: Problems with EXT INPUT
Listen,it depends a lot on what type of istruments you are "merging" into JunoDs.
I had a korg M50, it was a mess, a lot of noise, too high volume.
Now I put a Casio PX5s, it's wonderful, no problem.
So, definitely, it all matters on impedance.

Re: Problems with EXT INPUT
It works Luke. I bought the impedance reduction gear and it works! It depends on what you insert in the plug. that's great to hear, thank you! Do you have a second keyboard going through it? Yes I have a second keyboard going thru. Since you have a setup similar to what I have in mind, can I kindly...

Re: Juno DS user bank
1. YES. It is super-easy. Just save and choose user location
2. YES. But keep the expansion installed, otherwise there will be no sound for that patch.
3. YES. Librarian or USB backup, it is your choice. Then you can restore one among many backup, the one you choose.

Re: JUNO DS vs. FA 06
My understanding is that the DI has a 64 mb set of Fantom-derived sounds. The DS has the same set, plus an additional 64(?) mb of additional sounds for the new "DS" tone bank. I don't know where they come from, but they do not appear to be 5080-based. Roland talks about its new improved p...

No you can't.
Each wave-based axial expansion is exclusively used in the single JunoDs slot available.

Re: JUNO DS vs. FA 06
Greetings, I'm new here, but I have been a Roland user for a long while now and plan to be adding either a Juno DS or an FA to my mobile rig soon. I recently acquired a Korg Krome for use in hotels as I travel for work, and while the keyboard really does sound fantastic, I'm finding it dreadfully u...
