Re: RD700NX vs. RD800: which is better for trills/fast runs?
Thanks - your answer sounds encouraging! I guess it's all up to the difference between the PHA3 and PHA4. Unfortunately, no RD800 nearby to try out - I'll have to order one and hope that it's at least no worse than my 700NX, and then try to sell the one I don't want to keep.

RD700NX vs. RD800: which is better for trills/fast runs?
Finding my 700nx hard to play for "fast stuff", and it doesn't have the bounce feel of my old SX. Would the 800 give me the NX quality with a more spry keybed?

RD 700NX - Can you save settings?
I know you can save default patches to the "quick" positions, but I can't figure out how to save any on board edits. Is it possible to save EQ and effects changes to a patch?

good live piano patch on the 700NX?
Does anybody have any settings they can share? I want a good level of brightness that cuts through a band - a crisp tight sound with good bottom end, but not too bass heavy. So far, I'm tweaking a Brilliant Piano patch.

Yeah, I wish there was way to fix it so the jumps aren't so drastic.

Recieved 700NX damaged? Or is this how it is...
Pushing the keys down, it feels like the keys don't go as far down as in previous models? Is this a feature of the new keybed, or could it be a sign of damage during shipment. I don't recall this when trying the board out in-store. Could it be that the keys are stiff at first, and then wear down? Th...

Re: $1600 for a used 700 GX, or $2100 for a 700 NX?
That $2100 was a used rate. They sell new for $2500-$2600 in the States. I now have a old 300GX I'm selling. It's definitely well used, but everything works. Thinking of asking $600-$800 for it. What's the going rate on those?

Re: $1600 for a used 700 GX, or $2100 for a 700 NX?
Thanks - I went with NX. Would you consider $1950 shipped a good price for a "gently used" floor model?

$1600 for a used 700 GX, or $2100 for a 700 NX?
I lost a 700-SX a while back - my favorite board to date - and quickly replaced it w/ a 300-GX which I initially liked, but over time, I missed the bouncy playability of my 700. Question now is, do I go for a reasonably priced 700GX, or is the upgrade to NX worth it? I do like the action of the NX, ...
